RSS Chief Proclaims To Assemble An Army War Ready Within 3 days, Unlike Army

Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat today said the organization has the ability to prepare an “army” to fight for the country within three days if such a situation arises.

Bhagwat was addressing workers in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur’s at the end of a six-day visit.

“Sangh will prepare military personnel within three days which the Army would do in 6-7 months. This is our capability. Swayamsewak will be ready to take on the front if the country faces such a situation and Constitution permits to do so.” Bhagwat was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Bhagwat, who is currently on a ten-day tour of Bihar and meeting farmers and activists of various wings of his organization, however, denied that RSS is a military outfit. “We are a family organization, but we have discipline and preparedness like in the military. RSS workers are ready to happily sacrifice their lives for the nation in times of crisis,” he said in his speech at the Zila School grounds in Muzaffarpur.

“The day India becomes a powerful Hindu nation; there will be no need for RSS. Members of RSS would then keep meeting one another as friends do as usual,” added the 67-year-old leader as he outlined the objectives and duties of RSS activists. He has been in Muzaffarpur for the past five days and speaking to various groups of people on the benefits of cow protection and organic farming.

Asserting that the RSS workers set an example of good conduct in all circles of life from personal to social, he said that RSS workers are ‘always happily ready to make supreme sacrifice for their country’.

Even though RSS Chief’s remarks were met with loud praising chants and applause at the gathering, the social media didn’t seem to agree with Mohan Bhagwat’s statements at all.
